Day 1: Mui Ne to Di Linh
You have the option of riding an ostrich (extra cost). We will tour a fishing village and walk through the famous fairy stream. After, we visit a local family to see how they keep and breed the famous “con dong” Lizard, then ride on a beautiful road through desert villages to see Qua lake. We will see daily life and the culture of K’ho hill tribe during a visit their village. Stop and take a picture of spectacular views of the highland & flat land. Have a short walk to enjoy the fresh air and, scenery. In the afternoon, we tour the coffee plantation to see why Vietnam is the second biggest coffee country in the world, then visit the spectacular Li Liang waterfall, before a homestay with the local family in Di Linh.
Day 2: Di Linh to Dalat
We tour the Di Linh local market to learn about the daily life of locals, then ride over peaceful roads to a green tea plantation and mushroom farm. We visit and have a swim in the Pongour waterfall. We visit a passion fruit farm to taste passion fruit, before having a typical Vietnamese lunch at Elephant falls. In the afternoon we tour a silk factory, have a taste of the famous weasel coffee and homemade rice wine at a local family plantation, and see a flower farm. We arrive in beautiful Dalat around 5pm.
Day 3: Dalat to Lak Lake
We visit the highlights of Dalat city, including the crazy house, train station, Dalat old quarter, and Linh Phouc pagoda. We then head to the Chicken Village to learn more about the traditional clothing of the Chil & Ma hill tribes. We’ll relax and enjoy the breath-taking vistas and nature of the Central Highlands on the Phu Son pass. Then we see the floating village and stop for views and pictures of beautiful Krong No Lake. We have a ride around Lak Lake and visit the Jun village to see how locals train elephants. We can stay in the local long house or 2 star hotel in front of Lak Lake.
Day 4: Lak Lake to Buon Me Thuot City
You have the option of taking an Elephant riding tour (extra cost). We will trek to the top of the Elephant Rock mountain to enjoy the panoramic view of the area. Then we visit a broken church to learn about the civil war. We follow the countryside to see the black pepper farm of the biggest pepper export country in the world, see Dray Sap waterfall (the biggest and most beautiful waterfall in the central highlands), where you can dip your body into the Fairy Pool next to waterfall after a hot day traveling. For lunch we’ll taste the excellent BBQ Chicken there, and in the afternoon, we tour the BMT war prison to understand the history of the country & French War. We spend the night at a 2 star hotel in Buon Me Thuot.
Day 5: Buon Me Thuot to Nha Trang
Visit the oldest village of the Ede people to observe and respect their traditional culture. We will see a museum for the 44 different ethic tribes in the area, then head into the countryside to visit a cacao farm. We will visit areas affected by the infamous “Agent Orange” before touring a hot springs and watching traditional brick making. We will stay overnight in Nha Trang
Day 6: Nha Trang to Qui Nhon
We visit the Phat Trang Pagoda to know more about Self-immolation of some Buddhist monks during the civil war. Then follow the beautiful coastline to a colorful fishing village, Van Phong Bay, and many unspoiled beaches. You will be stunned by the beauty of Ca Pass and Dai Lanh lighthouse (trust us!). Then we discover the Ho Chi Minh trail on the ocean when we visit Vung Ro Bay, before riding up Tuy Hoa Cham Tower to have a picture of the city and enjoy the panoramic view of Cai River. In the afternoon, we will visit [the amazing volcanic Rock dish], before arriving in Qui Nhon around 4pm, relaxing on the town’s peaceful beach and staying overnight there.
Day 7: Qui Nhon to Kon Tum
We tour the beautiful Thi Nai Lagoon – both to see the beauty of the area and to get a remarkable look of the local daily life on the water. We then head to the imposing view of An Khe Pass, and have a good ride through many pine forests, enjoying the fresh air of the central highlands. We will stop and admire the architecture of Bana’s Rong House, amazing wood carvings at a 148-year-old open church, and learn about the traditional culture of the Gia Rai hill tribe when we visit their village. We will spend the night Kon Tum
Day 8: Kon Tum to Kham Duc
We start by visiting the highlights of Kon Tum city, including the unique wooden church, Eva Café, and Kon K’tu village. We will stop at Vinh Son Orphanage, then travel on the Ho Chi Minh trail to visit the Dak To battlefield monument, the well-known Phoenix Airport, and Charlie Hill to learn more about the war between Vietnam’s Northern and Southern governments. After lunch we keep riding on the HCM trail to the 2700 meter-high Ngoc Linh mountain, and stop and enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding rainforest. We will have a swim in the waterfall along the trail, and arrive in Kham Duc around 4.30pm, where we will stay overnight.
Day 9: Kham Duc to Hoi An
We will first tour Kham Duc’s local market. We then head back on the HCM trail to the Communal House of the K’tu people. We see the Thanh Nhan water fall, and ride through many traditional Vietnamese villages to see their locally made ceramic products and incense sticks. We will learn about the culture and history of the area when we visit Ang Bang tower. After lunch, we head towards the famous town of Hoi An and stay overnight there.
Day 10: Hoi An to Hue via Hai Van Pass
We leave Hoi An at 10:00 am and travel through the countryside to explore traditional villages. We will view marble carving at Marble Mountain because riding on to Danang, including a stop at Dragon Bridge. After lunch we head up and over the Hai Van Pass with many stops to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the pass, beaches, ocean and to learn more the rich history of Vietnam. We visit the spectacular Lang Co beach, enjoy the romantic beauty of Tam Giang lagoon, and arrive in the former imperial city of Hue around 4:00 pm. We stay overnight in Hue.
Day 11: Hue to Cua Tung Beach
We start by visiting all of the highlights in the ancient capital, including the Citadel, Linh Mu pagoda, Dong Ba market, and Nam Giao (Heaven Temple). After heading out of Hue we visit a conical hat making village, Long Hung Church, and Bo De School, which was a battlefield in 1972 between North and South Vietnam for 81 days and nights. We then ride along peaceful coastline to visit the Vinh Moc tunnels and explore the Demilitarized Zone and Doc Mieu Firebase. We stay overnight in Cua Tung beach.
Day 12: Cua Tung Beach to Dong Hoi
We have a short stop at the Truong Son cemetery to pay our respects to the soldiers who fought and died on the HCM trail during the Civil War. Continuing west on Highway 9, we will climb into the Truong Son foothills, pass the Rock Pile and stop at some villages and beautiful natural springs and waterfalls near the highway. We visit a war village and explore the beautiful Nhat Le river before staying overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 13: Dong Hoi to Phong Nha
We ride to the famous and stunning Phong Nha Cave, where we will take a boat trip into the cave. We spend all day exploring the stunning Phong Nha Cave system, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was formed 400 million years ago. The cave system is the largest in Asia. We stay overnight in Phong Nha town. Our trip can end here but we are sure you ‘ll remember this trip for your whole life .

Day 14: Phong Nha to Huong Khe
We start off by riding the west Ho Chi Minh trail, where you will have the chance to see the real trail with its mind-blowing, spectacular scenery – lots of jungle, mountains, waterfalls and the villages of the Paco and Van Kieu minorities. In the afternoon we will stop for a swim in the Suoi Nuoc Mooc Springs, and visit Tamco caves and Kilometre 0 of the west Ho Chi Minh Trail. We stay overnight in Huong Khe.
Day 15: Huong Khe to Vinh
We keep riding on the HCM trail to the historic location of Dong Loc, where you can see remnants of weapon from the civil war and a special monument dedicated to ten young ladies who were killed by a bomb in 1968. We then tour the home of the great poet Nguyen Du. We visit Ben Thuy battlefield and HCM square before staying overnight in Vinh.
Day 16: Vinh to Cam Thuy
We visit Sen Village, where Ho Chi Minh was born and Chua Village where he grew up, learning about Vietnamese history. We will visit the Ba Trieu temple and nearby small villages to see how locals make their traditional mats, stone carvings, and rolls of processed tobacco. We will tour the Ho Dynasty Citadel to learn more about the early history of Vietnam. Then we will head off and enjoy riding through the stunning scenery of the countryside surrounded by limestone hills. In the afternoon we see the mysterious Fish Stream, where you can play and see millions of fish and an incredible cave. We stay overnight in Cam Thuy.
Day 17: Cam Thuy to Hoa Binh
We start by riding along the Ma River to admire the imposing views of the area. Our ride gets a little more adventurous when we cross a local suspension bridge. We will tour a chopstick factory, learn how to make bamboo buckets when we visit a local family shop, and visit a Muong village to learn more about the culture of the ethnic minority. At night we stay at a home stay with the Thai minority in their tradition stilt house, share their traditional food and explore their traditional folk music.
Day 18: Hoa Binh to Ninh Binh
We first watch traditional weaving of the Thai ethnic minority at Lat village. We will ride through the countryside to Cuc Phuong national park, where we will be trekking, relaxing and visiting the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre (a highlight of the park.) Then we will explore Tam Coc–Bich Dong, which is known as the “Halong Bay of the rice paddies.” We stay overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 19: Ninh Binh to Halong bay
We tour the Trang An area to enjoy the perfect mix between rivers, limestone caves, rice paddies, and villages. We will see the Kenh Ga floating village, the Phat Diem Church, and the ancient capital of Hoa Lu. We arrive in Halong Bay by 3:00 pm, a perfect time to have a cool beer, relax, and enjoy the amazing bay.
Day 20: Ha Long Bay to Hanoi
We take a 4 hour long boat trip to explore the stunning limestone formations of Halong Bay. After lunch we head to famous Bat Trang ceramic village, then arrive in Hanoi old quarter around 4:00 pm. Hanoi is where we end our unforgettable trip.
